Speaking as a SulleyXRandall shipper, I love the first one especially. XD

Those comics are strange, in my opinion: some wikis imply they're canon (despite even the artist saying personally that it's only extended canon, which is not the same thing), but, while I haven't read them either, I do know that the issues are not connected in any way, among other lacking qualities. The ones with Sid I feel were particularly unoriginal, as it appears Boom! felt they needed a crossover to get a new villain, not to mention #4 involving him somehow befriending Randall and Waternoose despite their own reservations against humans? Bottom line: I don't think that, if the villain is going to be a human, it would be Sid. Aside from what I already said, Pixar does prefer keeping the same actors for the same characters, which would make a sudden contrast in age between Sid and who voiced him in Toy Story 1.

Thanks, savefearow. I deeply appreciate that. Hope to sing it later, when I'm fully recovered from my cold.

I have autism, myself, if it makes you feel better, KingLazarus.
As for this thread's original topic, honestly, I still do hold my belief that the villain would be a human, since we haven't been given much explanation why they're feared in the first place. Aside from that and my hopes that Randall will be redeemed (which is increasingly possible thanks to MU and DI), I admit I haven't given it much thought.

As weird as it may sound for a loyal fan of Randy, personally, the only other Pixar movie I enjoyed significantly was what I feel is their last good original movie so far: Wall-E. Monsters University does not count since that's a prequel. Reason I love Wall-E so much, other than the science fiction freak I am, is because of the contributions of one of my musical influences in the soundtrack: Peter Gabriel.

Interesting, musekicker; I myself ship the Sulley/Randall/Mike threesome as a guilty pleasure, so I was surprised seeing someone else list a poly ship. XD

Interesting: didn't realize that Pixar's software (think it was called Renderman?) was that popular among film developers, as I had never heard of it until visiting Pixar's website. Regardless, if they're the ones who made it, then obviously they have the most experience with it.
Still, at this point in time, I'm not sure which my bias is towards. I loved Monsters University for Randy's role, but his beginning was something that was already beaten by Dreamworks many years before: that things are not always what they are on the surface, and that people are not born evil. On the other hand, Dreamworks has had a history of ripping off of Pixar, and some of the stories and graphics could've been better as well (how Madagascar even got a Nicktoon is beyond me).

Never thought this place's activity would drop so quickly after founding. XD Maybe it's just me. Nonetheless, what I do when I'm bored. Technically, I shouldn't be bored half of the time because I do have things I have to do, such as homework. When I don't feel motivated, however, I tend to surf the web, whether it be for socializing or just to check up on places.

Likewise, I have the book as well. Specifically the edition that came out just after the 1987 movie did. Yeah, Crystal's voice is certainly somewhat unique, at least to me. XD If the voice of Mike in Disney Infinity was someone else (which I noticed was the case for Randy), then that's a VERY impressive impersonation. XD

The Princess Bride for me (which was referenced in MU). Granted, he didn't have a HUGE role in the movie, but still. XD

Yeah, a friend of mine actually has evidence against that claim: in one of the books for MI, it is revealed that he's 25 at that time, meaning he'd be only 38, now. But yeah, I hope more clarification is given, myself: for one, as a musician big on retro music, I can say that Swedish House Mafia (whose music was playing at the ROR party) is NOT '90s at all.

Interesting coincidence, then, CrazyDiamond! A shame I just confirmed I don't have any purple clothes at this time.
Anyway, I'm pleasantly surprised how many people are celebrating his birthday. WoC even got a temporary makeover thanks to CrazyDiamond. XD
