I love studio Ghibli, and wonder if anyone else does too? My favourite movies are Whisper of the heart, My neighbour Totoro, Kiki's delivery service and Spirited away.

I haven't watched all of them yet, but Spirited Away and Ponyo are definitely two of my favorites. The only one that wasn't as memorable to me was Castles in the Sky--maybe I was just distracted, but I can barely remember that. There were stone golems? That's it. I also haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle all the way through yet, ha ha.

Neither have I. I watched the first 20 minutes or something, but it didn't really speak to me. Maybe I'll watch it through one day, I hear lots pf people saying it's a really good movie - perhaps I'll just need some time to get into it.

Holy Crap, Ghibli is my Life!!!! XDDDDDDDD I've actually never heard of Whisper of the heart, but everything else I've seen, including Princess Mononoke. Spirited Away is probably my favorite though, mostly because there are so many disney voice actors in it Howl's moving Castle is probably my second favorite. Interesting fact about it is that Billy Crystal (voice for Mike Wazowski) is the voice of Calcifer the Fire Demon X3

There are so many of this studio's movies I haven't seen. I love Spirited Away though. The music is so utterly beautiful. Everything is really.

Spirited Away is my favorite. I think I just feel too sad for Kiki when she starts losing her powers (and the ability to confide in Jiji!) Chihiro in contrast, gains a better outlook on life and she doesn't suffer as big a setback: her parents are restored, for one thing. Also, the American dub of Kiki's Delivery Service is slightly bittersweet to watch knowing it was one of Phil Hartman's last roles. But I do love both movies. Just because I find parts of Kiki's movie sad, doesn't mean it's a bad movie or that I would ever discourage anyone from watching it. Kiki's awesome, her interactions with Tombo are all so cute. She's such a kind and determined little girl. All the Studio Ghibli movies I've seen were quite amazing. I know I've missed a few (such as The Wind Rises and Princess Mononoke.) I loved Ponyo and Howl's Moving Castle (Howl's such a brat and somehow he is charming because of it!) and My Neighbor Totoro. Laputa: Castle in the Sky is also quite good.

Spirited Away is probably the best Ghibli film, but I've always had a huge soft spot for Castle in the Sky!

Spirited Away is probably the best Ghibli film, but I've always had a huge soft spot for Castle in the Sky! That's a really good one I especially like the music and the Iron golems.

The Cat Returns is also a great film actually yes. I watched it not too long ago. I haven't watched all of the studio's films but I really should.
