I think her snakes do have names I read it somewhere I'm sure. What's a hive mind that sounds creepy. It is. Basically they can hear each other's thoughts. It would certainly explain why they seem to time that glowy thing perfectly. I love that Hive mind idea, head canon accepted.

UGGH okay I'm sorry guys I have to expand on the underwater city thing. So, you know how Claire's partially aquatic, right? Well, her grandparents showed her pictures of them when she was little. And ever since then, she's always wanted to go.
EDIT: I should mention that another headcanon of mine is that Claire can't breathe underwater.

I actually have a similar headcanon for Don Carlton being a half-aquatic hybrid too. His mother was aquatic while his father was the same sort of species as Professor Brandywine.

Depending on how tightly-knit land-dwelling communities of aquatic monsters are, Don may have even met Claire when she was growing up!

I had this other 'idea' (No official a head canon, but interesting for a story) Where the human world is actually toxic to monsters, and to much contact with it eventually makes monsters go insane, so most scarers end up in phyco wards at young ages, and when monsters are banished they basically turn into mindless animals over time, which is why so many never come back. Dracula/the Krakin would be a monster that was banished, then over time they lost their minds and would kill humans/sink their ships, which explains what 'bad' monsters are doing in the human world.

I have a head canon where Johnny spends about 3 hours a day on his appearance and personal hygiene. I heard about a head canon where Johnny would have a mental break down once a month due to pressure, he wouldn't shower/trim his fur at all, Wear dirty shirts and be a total gloomy slob all day, but then act like nothing happened the next morning. (I am not sure I hold this head canon personally. but its an idea I like thinking about XD) I can totes picture that. And the others are just taking care of him for the day. It would be funny to see.

I've also wondered if Celia names her hair, and what it's like to get "living" hair (like snakes, fins, or scales) cut. Amelia, Ophelia, Octelia, Bobelia and Madge.
From the storybook collection. ^_^

wELL… *literally creates a word document to get all my headcanons in order before I share them* *clears throat* Sulley is a binary butch trans woman. She realizes this shortly after MU and present as female full-time in MI. Throughout MI I’m disregarding canon because this idea is better. She’s bisexual. Mike is a nb trans man. He has ADHD (in MU he was on meds, but in MI he has a lowered dosage or none at all because work isn’t as high-stakes in the same way as school, so he can take fewer meds to avoid side-effects, but he does have a lot more trouble paying attention in MI). He’s also bisexual, although he leans towards being attracted to women. He's also Jewish , which I guess is semi-canon anyway. Boo is mixed race East Asian and Latina. She’s probably dfab, seeing as at her age her parents would still be the ones choosing her clothes and hairstyle. She grows up to be a chubbily buff butch demi-girl who is mostly into women. Celia is a nb trans woman. She’s straight I guess. Delores Boggs (birth name Randall) is a binary trans woman. She’s autistic, and has general anxiety and chronic depression, as well as ADHD which usually isn’t much of a problem for her but is worsened by chronic sleep deprivation. She’s a femme lesbian. A lot of her motivation is related to the fact that that when you’re autistic, everyone tells you that you have to be like Albert Einstein or Temple Grandin, and you hear about it so much that you feel like if you don’t do something great and revolutionary with your life to make up for daring to be born autistic then you’re nothing. Her sense of self-worth depends way too much on her perceived usefulness. I haven’t decided yet whether Delores is open about being a woman during MI and I’m choosing to disregard canon like I am with Sulley, or if she’s closeted until after MI. Waternoose is a cishet abled man. He’s one of those amicable libertarians who are really cool people to be around but they either literally don’t understand how the world works or they just don’t care. True story; I had a geology professor last year who was a libertarian. He was really fun and cool and I hope I have a class with him again because I liked him a lot, but he defended fracking and completely glossed over the fact that the potentially carcinogenic chemicals in the fracking water leach into people’s drinking water, and could potentially harm people. Basically, he thought that the answer to an energy shortage was to find more extreme methods of extracting the fuel, even at the cost of people’s safety. Sounds familiar. Roz is a mystery ( she's probably also trans). Fungus is dfab nb, and mostly abled. Their anxiety is more situational, rather than a result of brain chemistry. Dean Hardscrabble is a lesbian binary trans woman. Terri Perry is nb as heck. idk what Terri’s sexuality is. Terry Perry is a gay binary trans man, and has depression. Art is genderless dmab. He’s pansexual and aromantic. Don is cis and bisexual. Squishy is agender aro-ace, and is autistic and has some social anxiety. Sherri Squibbles is a trans woman. She’s autistic, and has anxiety, chronic depression, and BPD. Johnny is cisgay, Chet is a trans gay guy. I guess all the RORs aside from Delores are men.

Mine: I think Monsters must smell naturally pleasing (at least to humans), otherwise they wouldn't try to "improve" their scent by using odorents. Also, their teeth must be naturally whitish in color, otherwise there wouldn't have been an ad at the back of the Fearbook for monsters to get their teeth yellowed. So, naturally good-smelling and naturally white teeth? There seems to be a lot of opposites in the monster world when comparing it to our human living. So, unlike humans, monsters naturally smell good (or have no smell at all, maybe) and have white teeth.
