This is ridiculous....I am so tired of Frozen winning every single award. I like the movie, but MU DESERVED that winning spot..

That is kind of annoying. Sadly, I don't vote in Kids' Choice Awards any more. I think I last voted in 2010, when I still met the teen qualifications.
Because you can vote via text message (in addition to the Nick website), I'm sure that some fans stuffed the ballot to ensure Frozen won. Frozen is good, but it's not THAT popular with the Nick demographic. Despicable Me 2 seemed to be a bigger hit with really young kids (my nephews like the Minions) and MU seems to have a bunch of teenage fans. Parents tended to like Frozen alot, but parents shouldn't be the ones calling in votes.

KCA has always been a disappointment to me and it's been stupider over the years so I stopped watching it. (Plus I outgrew it anyway) Spongebob keeps winning Best Cartoon..so many times it's ridiculous. (Only cartoon to have ever beaten SB was Avatar: The Last Airbender) I enjoyed Frozen, but MU would've been my pick. It's a shame though that MU got snubbed by the Oscars which is total BS, which is worse than what happened at the KCA.

Oh, for the love of God. Why is Frozen so freakin' popular, I mean is was OK, but it is NOT better than MU or DM2. I don't even know what attracted people to it so much. I haven't seen CwaCoM2 yet, but I actually want to see it. I didn't really want to see Frozen, I just saw it because everybody I knew was pointing me in the sides to do it. *sigh* people are crazy O.o

I really liked Frozen! I thought it was funny and cute, and the animation was flawless. Of course I enjoyed MU more, and I think that movie deserved an award too (or at LEAST a nomination for the Oscar's!), but I also kinda think Frozen deserved to win. The most important thing is that WE enjoy MU, and that we can discuss it with lovely, likeminded people! I haven't seen that meatball movie (neither of them), and I thought DM2 sorta sucked. I bought the dvd, and I hardly bothered finishing it. I started drawing when I was halfway through it, lol.

Anyways, I don't want to offend anyone, when I said Frozen didn't deserve the winning spot, but MU won 10 awards.. While frozen won over 36 awards plus this the KCA one. In opinion, it has more than enough recognition.

I actually prefer frozen to MU. MU didn't really impress me as much as I hoped, it was really good but I preferred monsters.inc and I think a sequel would have been much better and probably have won more awards tbh.

I like the first "meatball" movie - it was really funny, imo, but I haven't seen the sequel and most reviewers noted it isn't as good as the first one... Honestly, I think MU deserved DM2's spot at the Oscars. DM2 wasn't particularly bad, but it was significantly more sequel-ish than MU and it relied heavily on the minions to keep it afloat

Don't get me wrong, I thought Frozen was a great movie, but people have been saying crap about it being the best Disney movie since the Lion King, and I thought that was kind of a stretch. Sad to hear not many people liked DM2 though, I personally liked it better than Frozen anyway, but that's just my opinion

I like Frozen, but it's not my favorite Disney movie. Had it been released in a different year (when it faced stiffer competition), I would not have minded it winning so many awards. I just feel that some of the competing movies were overlooked.
The Oscars really bugged me because in that case, most of the voters/critics hadn't even bothered to watch Cloudy With Meatballs 2, Monsters Uni, or Despicable Me 2. Some of them hadn't even seen Frozen yet but still assumed it must be good because it's Disney.
But the Oscars results seldom match my opinions anyway. (I was disappointed when Brave beat out Wreck-It-Ralph because I felt Ralph had a stronger message, more interesting art styles- such as depicting the cast as 16-bit characters for 'in game' moments- and I absolutely adored hearing "When Can I See You Again?" by Owl City. Brave was not a bad movie, but it felt less risky, more formulaic and I didn't connect with Merida's problems the way I did with Ralph and Vanellope.)
The Kids' Choice Awards mattered to me for about 10 years, but Nickelodeon is not such a big deal to me now. If this had happened a few years ago, I probly would have been complained more. ^^;

I never saw Frozen and I wanted to see it, but now I'm so tired of it omg The memes are funny and the Face Characters are cute and I have a soft spot for that big Olaf plushie that the Disney Store sells. I also really like Let it Go (Korean Pop version), however I'm so sick of it. omg I feel like Elsa's singing voice doesn't fit her. I feel like MU had such an amazing lesson. But whatever. I haven't seen the KCA's since forever omg

I've never even seen the KCA period the end. Never seemed to interest me when I was a kid, plus I didn't know very many actors, I probably didn't even know who Miley Cyrus was XD In Frozen though, I thought that Olaf was extremely obnoxious. I know everyone else liked him, but I didn't. I wanted to break him :/ The only character that I found in the least bit interesting was Elsa. She is such a tragic character, and that pretty much takes the cake for me. But all the other characters just seemed so insignificant, except perhaps Anna, because she is the victim to all of Elsa's mistake, so that earns her a few points in my book too, she's probably my second favorite.

Yeah, me to, but that's how it goes in every movie, the more beloved character is always given less screen time or is considered an underdog. It happens *shrugs*
