Noticed a similar thread for Johnny earlier on, so I feel a thread for Randy would be nice.
What kind of music do you think he listens to?
Honestly, I'm not sure whether his tastes stayed the same after college, given all the stress, peer pressure, etc. he was going through at the time. The impression I do get from his MI self, however, is far more extreme than the jazz ridden through the Monsters soundtracks. I heard an argument once that he's into hard rock, and I can picture that, or, if he prefers more electronic stuff, perhaps some industrial music? (I can easily picture his older self listening to NIN's Pretty Hate Machine, for some reason).
Thoughts? What music do YOU think he enjoys?

I think this might be Randalls favorite song. He probably sings it in the shower every morning before work.

I can see Randall listening to Jazz and other old records music of all kinds. Also maybe some dance music that's current. I like the idea of him collecting some rare old antiques (not enough to be a hoarder!) like just a record player and listens to it sometimes. He finds them interesting because of the history in contrast to how things change, like he's open to both old and new music like other things. (Going by winds of change motto)

I picture him listening to new wave and synthpop, to be honest. I'm too busy to work on this now, but I can picture a MI comic where Randall is subconsciously changing colors in time to the lyrics of Karma Chameleon (lovin' would be easy if your colors were like my dreams; red, gold, and green-- red, gold, and green...)
At the end, he beats up Fungus for leaving the radio on at work.

Karma Chameleon. Of course. XDD
I can picture him listening to synthpop and new wave, but given how edgy he is in MI, I only see that scenario in MU, which, if it was indeed supposed to be set in the late '80s/early '90s like the release of the original would suggest, was a time when it was deservedly more popular, anyway. It's a weird belief for me because of my loving synthpop and new wave, myself (much of my own music, in many ways, is basically just a modern take on those genres), but still.
I do like the idea of him secretly being a hipster, though, a theory I also consider plausible given the design of his TV, which I discussed elsewhere.
